1 | Open House
Join us for our Open House from 1–3 p.m. on Sunday, November 5. Meet MAP St. Louis students, families and teachers. Learn more about the first-ever Montessori Middle School in St. Louis, our amazing Grand Center community, and what makes MAP St. Louis different.
2 | Apply
MAP St. Louis is now accepting applications for seventh through ninth grade students. With an enrollment cap of 15 students per grade level, it is important that the following information is completed and received by January 16, 2018.
- Complete and submit an Application and a $75 nonrefundable application fee.
- Submit the Student Records Release form to your child’s K-6 school(s).
- Request your letters of recommendation (one letter must be from a previous teacher or school administrator).
3 | Shadow
After we receive a student’s application, we will schedule a half-day visit. This Shadow Day will provide your child with the opportunity to engage, explore and experience a day in the life of a MAP St. Louis student. Visiting students will also meet with a teacher for a 30-minute informal interview. Shadow days are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
4 | Decisions
The Admissions Committee will review completed applicant files and make enrollment decisions. Admissions decision letters will be mailed March 16, 2018. The enrollment decision and contract deadline for accepted students is April 6, 2018.
After the main admissions cycle, we move to rolling admissions between April and August on a space-available basis.
If you are unable to attend the open house, we recommend that you schedule an informational parent meeting with the Head of School before applying. Please email, email@example.com, to arrange this meeting.
