Maria Montessori believed in the potential of children to shape a more peaceful world. Even as political polarization increases in the US and we see our society starkly divided, MAP remains grounded in its peace-education approach to realize our vision of supporting adolescents as creative, critically-thinking, and socially-conscious individuals who will enter adulthood prepared to create lives of purpose, value, and joy. This is the lens through which we consider the whole of our program, our courses, and our curriculum.
